'The Hand and the Eye of the Tower' used to be 'Never Lose Your Path, Your Patience, or Yourself'. More than one person thought the latter title was too much like a lecture. :( I've changed it, yet again (yes, this title has been changed twice already) to 'The Hand and the Eye of the Tower'. Here's another snippet from 'The Hand and the Eye of the Tower', the very first six lines of the book...
“I know you’re there. I can feel you. I’m blind and cannot touch without you.” It was a childlike plea, as well as a seductive whisper. Danyell wanted to respond, but didn’t dare. He lay very still, so the voice couldn’t find him.
O_o Creepy!

Delete*shivers* Very creepy. I wonder who or what the voice is and why he's so afraid of it.
ReplyDeleteOh, good! Seeing as this was the very beginning of the book, that was the desired effect! :)
